After years of working in the education system, I have decided to take the leap and open up my own daycare. With my extensive experience in special education and my background in school counseling, I am well-equipped to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children of all abilities. My passion for working with young children and adolescents drives me to create a space where they can learn, grow, and thrive. I believe in the importance of fostering creativity, independence, and self-confidence in every child that walks through the doors of my daycare. Although, working with children is one my greatest strengths. I cannot take all the credit. Pre-Covid my husband Dwayne Evans, and I had ran a small summer camp, aftercare/tutoring for many of our friends and family who needed these services. One of the highlights of our program was the track and field training that my husband provided. Many of our campers discovered a passion for running, jumping, and throwing, and some even went on to compete in local track meets. My husband's expertise in the sport helped our campers improve their skills and achieve their personal bests. Overall, our aftercare and summer camp program was a success thanks to the support of the parents, the hard work of my husband. We were proud to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in our community and provide them with a safe and enriching environment to learn and grow.Now that we are officially licensed and excited to embark on this new journey and to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. I am confident that my knowledge, skills, and dedication will make my daycare a welcoming and enriching place for children to learn and play. In conclusion, I am incorporating christian values within my daycare and aftercare program. I aim to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn about love, kindness, and compassion. I believe that by integrating these values into daily activities and teachings, children can develop a strong moral compass and a sense of purpose. My staff and I are committed to creating a space where children cannot only learn and grow academically, but also spiritually. By God’s teachings into my daycare program, I hope to inspire and empower children to be kind, empathetic, and resilient individuals who can make a positive impact in the world.
